I am pretty new to painting with gouache, so there are only a few works here. It is very different from inks or watercolours. It’s more pasty, less flowy. It likes smooth surfaces and a single smooth application.
But the colours can be so brilliantly intense. And it can be such a heart lifter to slap down some strong yellow gouache.
So I will be playing more with this medium. And sharing what I consider my better efforts here.
