Inks are almost as glorious as watercolour, but not quite. They are semi opaque to opaque, meaning you can blank out the light more effectively. I love playing around – combining watercolours and inks together in works.
My ink art works tend to focus more on line strength, as I delineate a subject in the composition. I find that when I get frustrated with a watercolour project, I turn to ink to relax. And have a little fun. But then, I start itching to try something out with my favourite transparent medium. On and on the seesaw goes.
